Story of the Smelly Sneakers
Have you ever allowed something that ’stinks’ to be part of your experience?
Bitching, moaning, griping, blaming, wondering why it stinks so bad … instead of taking a minute to figure out what that ‘bad smell’ is so you can do something about it?
Well, it just happened to me.
I sat with a bad smell in my office most of the day. My husband (wolverine) left his sneakers under my desk. The same sneakers he wears to the mountain bike trails … the same ones I’ve seen him wear WITHOUT socks to cut the grass.
Instead of taking the time to figure out what the smell was, I decided to COMPLAIN ABOUT IT..
I was too busy complaining about how bad it smelled in my office to take action and better my circumstances. It was easy to get caught up in the bitching … and kinda fun. A total distraction from what I had planned for the day. I believe we use ’stinky’ circumstances as a good excuse for why the good stuff is nowhere in sight. Sometimes it’s easier to sit there and gripe than to identify what stinks and take care of it.
Whether it’s something in your business, something in your diet, something in your friendships, marriage or current lifestyle … you gotta get rid of the stinky stuff so the good stuff can come to you.

LOL!!!! I have a question, Fabulous Susie Shina. Since your big strong Wolverine was so nice to leave his stinky, smelly shoes in your office… where did he leave his socks? Because you may want to go track those stink bombs down too!
Thank you for that!!! Love you!
